About Us and our Cheesecakes...
We have been making gourmet New York Style Cheesecakes in the Orlando Florida area for over twenty years. The locals know us as Lake Mary Cheesecake, which bakes for the finest restaurants in our area. About three years ago we decided that it would be important to create cheesecakes for those on special diets, and we started looking at recipes and trying them out. Boy, were we disappointed in those recipes! We had set a high standard for ourselves - our cheesecakes are great, and the new cakes would also have to be delicious! So we set about creating a great cheesecake from scratch. First, we tried to make cheesecakes without adding any sugar or gluten (flour). We never realized just how difficult that would be! We weren't satisfied with any of the sweeteners on the market (see our comments in the description of our low carb cheesecake). So we created our own (see www.zugr.com). Then we set out to make a traditional New York Style Cheesecake, but without gluten - and we succeeded in doing that also. To introduce these new products to the retail market, along with the wide range of traditional cheesecakes we make, we decided we needed a name that tells everyone how our cheesecakes compare to all the rest. That was easy, we're Supreme!
About our cheesecakes and pricing
Our cheesecakes are 9" in diameter by about 2" high. They weigh about 4 pounds. We ship to all 50 states via USPS Express Mail® to ensure safe, fresh delivery of our cheesecakes. We use special temperature controlled packaging that also cushions your cheesecake to avoid damaging it. When you order, please be ready to receive your cheesecake the following day. Please note, we only ship Monday through Friday for delivery Tuesday through Saturday. All varieties of our Plain Vanilla cheesecakes are $27.95 plus shipping and handling, and our flavored cheesecakes are $29.95 plus shipping and handling.
Shipping Information:
Our cheesecakes are shipped frozen in temperature safe packaging with a special sealed foam chiller block included to assist in keeping the inside of the sealed container cool. We guarantee that it will arrive safely, but exactly how long it will remain frozen depends on environmental conditions. The manufacturer of the packaging claims 3 to 5 days, and we have tested for 2 days in the Florida heat (passed with flying colors). When we ship it to you, it will arrive in about 24 hours from the time it was packaged.
Thawing Your Cheesecake:
We recommend that your cheesecake be thawed in the refrigerator for the best texture. Cheesecake serving temperature is a personal preference. We like it best between 45°F and 55°F
Shelf Life of your Cheesecake:
Shelf Life: Frozen at 0°F: at least 1 year, in cooler at 34°F four weeks. Must be defrosted in cooler for best texture. Suggested serving temperature 45° to room temperature.
